Nomination information for Super Heroes of Autism

Do you know a champion in the autism community who deserves to be recognized? Now accepting nominations in the following categories:

Parent/Family of the Year

Individual of the Year(self-advocate)

Special Educator of the year(k-8)

Special Educator of the year (Secondary/Post secondary)

Educator of the year (General educator/Integrated classroom)

Autism Service Provider of the year (Children’s services)

Autism Service Provider of the year (Adult services)

Medical Professional of the year (MD, DDS, Ph.D.)

Employer of the year (Employs an individual with autism or person affected by autism)

Outstanding Peer

Join the New Mexico Autism Society at our Super-Heroes of Autism 2015/2016 Gala, A Royal Affair. This years event includes a Royal Presentation by the first ever female with autism to compete for Miss America, Alexis Weinman and sister Danielle Weinman current Miss Montana and contestant in the 2015 Miss America pageant. Food, fun, networking, silent auction, dance and a royal time honoring the leaders who are champions in the autism community.

Rules:

  1. You may nominate yourself or someone else.

  2. Nominee may not be nominated for more than one category.

  3. All nominations must be returned by 5pm on December 6th.  Nominees will be notified on  December 16th. Email to superheroes@nmautismsociety.org

  4. Three Nominees from each category will be selected by a selection committee and will be honored at the Gala. One “Ultimate Super-hero” in each category will be announced during the ceremony.
