The Ellen Reavis Race for Autism is a Charity event to benefit the New Mexico Autism Society.

Event Information

Friday, April 10th

12 pm-6pm Packet Pick Up-Bosque Running Shop-6001 Winterhaven Dr. NW (COORS&MONTANO)

You will receive your bib number and t-shirt size that you suggested on your registration form.

Registration-There will also be the opportunity to register for the race at packet-pick up

TEAMS (IMPORTANT)-If you are picking up for your entire team please let your other team members know.

Saturday, April 11th-Balloon Fiesta Park-A MARVELous Celebration

We highly encourage everyone to pick up on Friday to avoid long lines at the event. Race Day Packet Pickup: Race packets may be picked up the morning of the event starting at 11:15, if not picked up on Friday.

Race Day Registration: If you have not had the opportunity to register, you may do so. Same Day Registration will open at 11:15 am and close at 11:40 am. *Please note price increase and no guaranteed t-shirt. Race Day Parking:  Please follow designated parking signs as you enter off of Balloon Fiesta Parkway.         Volunteers will guide you to reserved lot for our event.  Weather: Event will take place rain or shine. No refunds or bib transfers. Event director and C.I. reserve the right to alter posted routes for safety considerations due to rain or other factors.

**All runners and walkers should arrive one hour prior to their race time (At least 30 minutes prior if you picked up your bib on Friday)

Important information about the 5K. A 5k is a 3.1 mile route that will take you around balloon fiesta park. Families and casual walkers, will start behind the competitive runners. Due to the event’s popularity, we will provide staggered starting times between the runners and walkers. Event though there is a staggered start the competitive runners circle back by the walkers. Please keep to the right. Sturdy strollers are allowed, but bicycles, skateboards, scooters or roller skates are NOT allowed for safety reasons. Children must be supervised at all times by an attentive adult. **ALL walkers and runners in each race must be registered to participate except children under age 5 who will be pushed in a sturdy stroller by a registered adult in the 5K.

***THERE ARE NO DOGS ALLOWED*** This excludes service animals. *NO GLASS BOTTLES

**Food Trucks will be on site, live band, jump houses, We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym, and so much more! Brotherhood Motorcycle Run for Autism will arrive at approximately 12:00.

11:45-Opening Ceremonies (Remembering Christine White, National Anthem Kiki Riley) MC –Sam Newton “Uncle Sam” COYOTE 102.5 FM  and Gabriel Salazar

12:00- 5k Run

12:15-5k walk

1:30 am – Kids k-This fun run is specifically designed for kids, and for individuals with special needs. The event is not timed. Parents or caregivers who need to walk with a participant do not need to register. Only registered participants will receive an event shirt and finishers will receive the official custom event medal.


Poster Contest- In conjunction of with the Ellen Reavis Race for Autism, create a unique, awesome banner or poster to honor that “super-hero” in your life and you could win a $50 gift card to IL Vicino Westide!! We are excited to see you what you come up with!!

T-Shirt Contest-In conjunction with the Ellen Reavis Race for Autism, each year, many teams create amazing t-shirts! This year, we will be awarding 2 $50 gift cards to Il Vicino Westside to the judges selections of most creative t-shirts or team accessory to the “Team Captain!”
